Tarmac Takeover is coming to Cuero, Texas for an adrenaline packed two-day motorsports
experience you won't want to miss, proudly presented by Dixon Directional. This one of a kind
event takes over Cuero with horsepower, competition, and daily fun all weekend long.
On Friday, engines will roar as competitors battle it out in an all-out Dyno Day, pushing vehicles
to the limits for bragging rights and big numbers. On Saturday, the stakes get even higher with a
No Prep race down the tarmac alongside the Show N Shine presented by Limitless Off-Road
and Performance, showcasing some of the cleanest, baddest build around.
With vendors, food trucks, and activities for the whole family, Tarmac Takeover is more than just
a dyno day and race, it’s a full scale gas motorsport festival. Best of all, it’s FREE to attend and
spectate, so bring your friends, your family, and your love for speed and style for an
unforgettable weekend in the historic Cuero, TX.

Registration cut off will be 8pm or when dyno wait times exceed 9pm, whichever comes first.
Fee: $125 for one session, including 3 pulls.

● Race Competitor Parking: Please use the Martin Luther King Jr. Dr entrance to access
the airport parking lot. Asphalt spots limited, first come first serve. Pit parking is limited to
your race vehicle, haul vehicle and trailer (if applicable). All of the other members of your
race crew/team must park in spectator parking.
● Show N Shine Competitors: Please use the Martin Luther King Jr. Dr entrance and you
will be directed to the Show N Shine parking area.
● Show N Shine Trailer Parking: Please use the Cuero Recycle Center entrance to park in
the field on the North side of the Airport. After unloading the show vehicle you will drive
through the racing pits and across to the Show N Shine area.
● Spectator Parking: Please use the Cuero Recycle Center entrance to park in the field on
the North side of the airport.

● Registration 9am-10am.
● Drivers Meeting 10am at Wamsley Performance booth.
● Daily Driver and Hot Street required to attend a 15 mile cruise following the drivers
meeting. Upon return, report directly to staging lanes.

● 1st round call outs allowed.
● If a race can not be called there will be a re-run at the of the round before next chip draw

● Vehicles must be tagged, titled and insured.
● Functioning headlights, tail lights, turn signals.
● Hard Tires or Radials (No Slicks).
● Factory Panels, no gutted beds.
● Full Interior, removed back seat okay.
● Fiberglass hood, fuel cells, and roll cages allowed.
● Rear lexan allowed with roll cage.
● Dual power adders allowed, ie turbo (twins allowed) and 1 kit of nitrous, 2 kits of nitrous,
supercharger and 1 kit of nitrous.
● Daily Driver vehicles allowed.
Daily Driver $100
● Vehicles must be tagged, titled and insured.
● Functioning headlights, tail lights, turn signals.
● Full factory interior, including door panels and front dash. Removed back seat okay.
● No slicks. Must be DOT tires. Radials allowed. No bald tires.
● Must have factory glass, factory body panels and factory frame.
● Factory style suspension in stock location. Aftermarket shocks and springs allowed.
● Footbrake only. No transbrake, launch control or 2 steps allowed. If you are equipped
with either it must be disabled. You will be disqualified if either is used.
● Single power adder, ie turbo (twins are allowed), 1 kit of nitrous, 1 procharger, etc.
● Exhaust must exit behind the cab.
● Must attend the cruise.
Test N Tune $50
● We will open Test N Tune if time allows, an announcement will be made by the race
master.
● Pants and closed toe shoes required. Additional safety equipment (ie. helmet, fire jacket,
fire suit) requirements will be enforced depending on vehicle, race master has final say.
Show N Shine Presented by Limitless Off-Road and Performance
● Registration is the day of the event, 9am-12pm. $25 per show vehicle.
● If hauling show vehicles please park use the Cuero Recycle Center entrance (1411 E
Broadway St. Cuero, TX 77954) and park in the field. You will be directed to the Show N
Shine parking area.
● If you are driving your show vehicles please use the Cuero Municipal Airport Entrance
(500 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr, Cuero, TX 77954) and you will be directed to the Show N
Shine parking area.
● Awards to be announced between 1-2pm.

Is the event at two different locations?
Yes! The Dyno Day is Friday January 30, 2026 at the Cuero Municipal Park. No Prep Race and
Show N Shine is Saturday January 31, 2026 at the Cuero Municipal Airport.
Where to park on Friday?
Spectators: The main entrance of the park on E Broadway will be closed, use entrance on
Leonard Roy Harmon Dr. for parking throughout the park or use entrance on Martin Luther King
Jr. Dr. to park along the pond.
Dyno Competitors: The main entrance on E Broadway will be closed, use the entrance on
Leonard Roy Harmon Dr. and you will be directed to the parking lot behind the pavilion. You are
allowed to park throughout the event area before and after your session if you wish.
